Vindico Arena
Cardiff
Vindico Arena in Cardiff Bay is home to Cardiff Bay Tigers ice hockey. Every training session and every home fixture takes place here — and it shows. There's no better place in Wales to watch or play recreational ice hockey.
The Venue
Cardiff's Home of Ice Hockey
Vindico Arena is one of the premier ice facilities in Wales, located in the heart of Cardiff Bay — one of the city's most vibrant and well-connected areas. For Cardiff Bay Tigers, it's not just a rink; it's the backdrop to everything the club does, from early-morning training runs to packed Friday-night fixtures.
Unlike most recreational venues in the country, Vindico Arena keeps its bar and café fully open throughout Tigers home games. That means fans can enjoy a proper matchday atmosphere — food, drinks, and fast ice hockey — all under one roof. It's a combination that's made Cardiff Bay Tigers home games one of the best evenings out in South Wales sport.
Home games at Vindico Arena have been drawing crowds of 250 to 400 spectators per fixture since the club's first season in 2025–26. In Division 1 of the Southern Recreational Ice Hockey Cup, the Tigers have been unbeatable at this venue — and the Vindico faithful have been a big part of that.
